Mr. Bell demonstrates the planting tool used for planting container seedlings. The planting tool can be used to plant container longleaf, loblolly, slash, shortleaf, Virginia pine, eucalyptus and wiregrass.
The tools’ tip is designed for the container plug. Once the tool is pressed into the soil and removed (soil removed) the plug fits into the ground and the soil is pressed snuggly around the seedling to close any air pockets.
